President and Founder, Dr. Sherri Bernier, Ed.D., HS-BCP, CCH, holds a Master's degree in Counseling from Central CT State University and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Hartford.
As a Certified Consulting Hypnotist, Dr. Bernier is registered with the State of Connecticut and is a member in "Good Standing" from the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH). Dr. Bernier follows the National Guild of Hypnotists Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
Dr. Bernier is certified in Pain Management and Soul Entrainment. She has studied extensively with smoking, anxiety, stress, stroke, confidence building, and living with cancer.
Her professional background includes over twenty years in the healthcare field. Dr. Bernier is an Associate Professor at Goodwin College and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hartford, Saint Vincent's College, and Charter Oak State College. She has presented her research and staff development programs in CT, VA, TX, IN, FL, MA, NV, NC, and OK and was the recipient of the Ruth Weg Emerging Scholar Award in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Dr. Bernier holds the credential of Human Services Board Certified Practitioner.
As a 20 year breast cancer survivor, she knows firsthand the cancer journey and has developed a program The Breast Cancer Voyage.

At the 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, and 2016 National Guild of Hypnotists Annual Convention in August, Dr. Bernier presented: The Breast Cancer Voyage: Hypnosis. And The Journey To Reestablishing An Accepting Self-Concept Of Body Image Following Surgery to fellow hypnotists. She has also presented a workshop on Achieving Joy at the NGH Convention in 2014.
